IPL spot-fixing: Raj Kundra's friend enquired about cricket pitch during match, says RR player Siddharth Tiwari

New Delhi: Just when Indian cricket was bouncing back from an extremely shameful fixing scandal, a fresh controversy seems to brewing in the higher echelons of Rajasthan Royal’s senior management. Raj Kundra, Shilpa Shetty’s husband and owner of IPL team, Rajasthan Royals, has been bought in for questioning.
Kundra was confronted with Rajasthan Royals player Siddharth Tiwari. Tiwari alleged that one of Kundra's friends had approached him during the IPL matches, asking about the cricket pitch.

Raj Kundra, who visited Siddhivinayak temple yesterday, has been called in for questioning by the Delhi Police Special Cell. He is being questioned by Joint Commissioner of the Special Cell along with other senior officers.
While the police is proceeding cautiously and is not ready to levy any charges without sufficient evidence, the fact of the matter is that this is the first time, a team owner has been brought in for questioning.
The police are primarily interested in understanding whether Kundra knew anything about the entire spot-fixing racket.
