New Delhi: Delhi Police on Friday arrested one of the main bookies who allegedly controlled the IPL spot-fixing network. Jitendra Singh alias Jeetu was arrested from Ahmedabad.
He has been brought to New Delhi on transit remand and will be produced in Saket court shortly. Jeetu was in touch will all arrested players - Sreesanth, Ajit Chandila, Ankeet Chavan. Police had been looking for him since the time they started investigating the spot-fixing case.
Police also arrested Chandresh Patel, another bookie who was working Jeetu.
