DRS once again fails to win over the BCCI: report

DRS once again fails to win over the BCCI: report

New Delhi: The Decision Review System (DRS) has once again failed to enter the BCCI good books after the chairman of the ICC Cricket Committee, Anil Kumble, opposed the proposal to make it mandatory during the week-long annual ICC conference that concludes on Saturday, reported Times of India.
Kumble, sources told TOI, based his opposition on the fact that there is further need to test the technology before it is made compulsory. The use of technology was favoured by many members of the cricket committee, but the Kumble stayed firm on his suggestion that it warrants further close monitoring.
The chief executives committee of the ICC will make recommendations to the ICC board after the cricket committee gives its suggestion at the conclusion of the conference.
