Dhoni bought a Scorpio he desired the number plate to be decorated with
number 7," one of his close friends had said about the India captain MS
Dhoni.
On Thursday, he turned 30, and chances are he might be fancying
celebrating his birthday in style and keeping the number 7 - his lucky
number in loop.
Cleary, Dhoni got a special preference for the number as his India shirt also has number 7 and his birthday is on July 7.
Dhoni was born on July
7, 1981 July also happens to be the seventh month of the year. So number
7 has always been special to Dhoni.
Dhoni’s first big
achievement came in the year 2007, as the team won the T20 world Cup
under his captaincy. Again, 2007 is the seventh year of the new
millennium.
Dhoni is the seventh batsman in the world to hit ten sixes in an
innings of a limited overs match during his unbeaten 183 against Sri
Lanka a few years ago.
