Judge asks for fresh elections in PCB

Islamabad: A judge has given the acting chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board three months to conduct fresh board elections.
Acting chairman Najam Sethi appeared on Thursday before Islamabad High Court judge Shaukat Aziz Siddique. Siddique expressed confidence in Sethi's appointment and hoped that the former caretaker chief minister of Punjab province will conduct free and fair elections in the PCB within 90 days.
Sethi, a prominent political analyst, was appointed by prime minister Nawaz Sharif last month after Siddique directed the government to replace Ashraf, saying his election was "polluted."

A judge has given the acting chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board three months to conduct fresh board elections.
Sethi also attended ICC's Board meeting last week after Siddique stopped Ashraf from going.
