Ruthless Saina decimates opposition in 31 minutes, cruises to quarter-finals of Thailand Open
Bangkok: Defending champion and top seed Saina Nehwal took all of 31 minutes to trample Febby Angguni of Indonesia in the second round of Thailand Open on Thursday to advance to quarter finals.
 
 
Indian men’s singles players also had a good day in the office with Sai Praneeth B, Ajay Jayaram, HS Prannoy, Sourabh Verma, Anand Pawar and K Srikanth reaching the second round.

World number 2 Saina Nehwal took just a little over half an hour to crush the Indonesian challenge. Saina fired 10 net winners and 10 smash winners.
 
 
The top seed Indian will meet eighth seed Gu Juan in quarters.

Saina got off the blocks in a jiffy, and cruised to 7-0 lead in no time. She went on to win the first game 21-12. 
 
 
She won the second game 21-11 as the high speed match ended in mere 31 minutes.
