World No 1 Serena Williams insists she is not worried by talk in the media regarding her 31-match unbeaten streak heading into Wimbledon.

The American has arrived in the UK for her defence of her crown after claiming just her second French Open title at Roland Garros last month.
And the 16-time Grand Slam champion will be aiming to win her sixth title at SW19 when the tournament gets underway next Monday.

"I'm just playing matches and doing the best I can and not even thinking about how many it's going to be."

"Everyone asks me 'what are you doing about this winning streak' and I'm like 'I don't know', I'm just playing matches and doing the best I can and not even thinking about how many it's going to be," she told Sky Sports.
"Every time I have a press conference, they remind me and I'm like 'oh yeah', so it's hard to forget, but I don't really think about it."
Asked if she thinks about the streak on court, she replied: "Not at all. I think if I did, I would feel a lot of pressure, but honestly for me I feel like everytime I go out there I just play a match and if I win that match I don't think about it's this many in a row. I just want to do the best I can in that match."
Former Wimbledon champion Maria Sharapova and Australian Open champion Victoria Azarenka will both be aiming to take the crown away from the in-form 31-year-old.
But Williams is not looking too far ahead and it taking things one game at a time.
"I don't look ahead," she said. "I always say the first person I play in the first round to the last person I play in the last round, if I even make it that far.
"If I overlook someone, even if they're not ranked that high then that's when you become more vulnerable."
