Michael Clarke: Remains in London to continue recovery from back problem

Australia captain Michael Clarke will stay in London and continue his recovery from injury ahead of this week's tour match against Gloucestershire.

Clarke, who suffered a back injury in his side's 4-0 Test series defeat by India, is confident he will be fit in time for the start of the Ashes next month - with the hope of making their tour match against Somerset in Taunton on June 26.
"I would imagine he would be fit for that game," said George Bailey, who replaced Clarke as skipper for the Champions Trophy.
"There was a real chance that (Clarke) would have been fit for the Sri Lanka game but with the circumstances of the game, he did not play."
Clarke will therefore remain in London until Australia's Ashes squad meets on June 24, together with James Faulkner, Shane Watson, Chris Rogers, Mitchell Starc and the banned David Warner.
Meanwhile, wicketkeeper Matthew Wade and batsman Phil Hughes will join the A squad in the west country after playing for Australia's unsuccessful Champions Trophy touring team.
Australia were eliminated from the competition at the Kia Oval with a 20-run defeat to Sri Lanka.
This summer's Ashes series begins on July 10 at Trent Bridge.
