Blackpool are stepping up their chase for out-of-contract left-back Ben Gordon, after he was released by Chelsea.
The 23-year-old, ended last season with a short-term deal at Yeovil where he made three appearances.
But he has caught the attention of Seasiders manager Paul Ince, who is thought to be interested in taking the defender on trial when his side return for pre-season training.
Gordon, who also had a loan spell at Birmingham last season, is keen to find a club where he can get games under his belt.
"There has been quite a lot of interest in me and I'm looking at a few offers, but the most important thing for me is putting another 80 to 100 games on my CV," he said.
"Last season didn't really get started for me after going to Birmingham on loan and getting injured, the manager brought in Paul Robinson and by the time I got fit I hardly featured.
"It's also important that I get a good pre-season under my belt this year as I missed most of it last year through injury."
