Pat Cummins: Is set to make his return after eight months out injured

Young Australia fast bowler Pat Cummins is set to make his long-awaited return from injury on Wednesday.

However, his return will come in an unfamiliar shirt as he appears for the Northern Ireland Cricket Academy in Belfast.
Regarded as one of Australia's brightest young pace prospects, Cummins will play for the hosts after an agreement between Cricket Australia and Cricket Ireland.
The 20-year-old has already been in Belfast with the Australia 'A' squad that completed a 93-run win over Ireland in their four-day game at the weekend. The seamer has had a watching brief until now though, as he recovered from stress fractures in his back - an injury that has ruled him out since October.
Cummins will make his comeback in Wednesday's match against the Marylebone Cricket Club before switching allegiance two days later to play against Ireland Under-19s, who are preparing for their World Cup qualifiers in August.
Ireland Under-19 coach Ryan Eagleson believes the arrangement suits all parties and hopes his young players can learn from the Australian pace-man.
"It's a fantastic opportunity for the young players to play with and against someone of the calibre of Pat Cummins," he said.
"It'll be a wonderful experience for them and help in their cricketing development. I know they're all excited and can't wait for the matches to start."
Cummins gained his only Test cap to date in November 2011, picking up the man of the match award against South Africa in Johannesburg.
Second innings bowling figures of 6-79 and hitting the winning runs looked to be the start of a bright future in international cricket for the Sydney-born youngster but injuries have denied him the chance to add to his solitary Test appearance.
Cummins will now be looking to get back to full-fitness and resume his international career.
