IPL spot-fixing saga: Ankeet Chavan's suspicious three overs vs Mumbai
New Delhi: The devil spot fixing has raised its head again. Delhi Police Special Cell has arrested Indian cricketer S. Sreesanth on charges of spot fixing.  Rajasthan Royals players Ankeet Chavan and Ajit Chandila were also arrested from The Trident Hotel, Mumbai early Thursday morning.
According to sources, fixers wanted Rajasthan bowler Ankeet Chavan to give 15runs in 2 overs. Chavan bowled a brilliant first over giving away just 2 runs and gave away 15 runs in his next. Chavan ended with giving away 25 runs in 3 overs.
And  this is how it all happened
0.1
Chavan to Maxwell, no run, fuller on the middle stump and it's pushed back to the bowler
0.2
Chavan to Maxwell, no run, keeps it up to the bat from round the stumps and Maxwell defends it back to the bowler
0.3
Chavan to Maxwell, no run, quicker and on the pads, was looking to play it round the corner, hits the pads
0.4
Chavan to Maxwell, 1 run, slows it down, bit of turn away from the batsman and he guides it to backward point for a single
0.5
Chavan to Tare, 1 run, on the back foot and taps it through to deep mid-wicket for a single
0.6
Chavan to Maxwell, no run, goes for the reverse slog, but for one, it's very slow coming on to the bat and then it turns away from the batsman, beats him
